Whitsett units were dispatched to respond on a medical assist call
received from Burlington dispatch near the intersection of U.S. Hwy
70 & Brightwood Ch. Rd. Upon arrival Rescue 31 found a single
vehicle struck a telephone pole and veered off the road way. Overall
one patient was transported via Guilford EMS. Traffic was diverted
for over 1 hour while waiting for utilities to be repaired.

At 9:53 P.M. Rescue 31 & Engine 312 receive the first call of the
New Year. Units were dispatched to a head on collision on Rock
Creek Dairy Rd. Just North of Franz Warner Parkway. 31-C arrived
on scene to find a 2 vehicle accident 1 patient trapped.
Rescue 31 assumed Rescue Division Duties. While the Crew from
Engine 312 assisted with stabilization and hazard control. Overall, 3
patients were transported to the regional trauma center via Guilford
EMS.
At 9:53 P.M. Rescue 31 & Engine 312 receive the first call of the
