Engine 312 and Rescue 31 responded with Alamance County
Station 8 (Elon) to Interstate 85 just South of University Dr.
Upon arrival Unit 86 (Elon) advised they had a 2 car motor vehicle
accident with 1 patient entrapped. Station 31 was then requested as
Mutual Aid. Rescue 31 arrived on scene and performed extrication
of victim with Engine 312 providing manpower. Overall 1 patient was
transported by Alamance EMS.

A stalled tractor trailer tied up traffic for two hours on Interstate 85
Sunday. Apparently the ability to read a fuel gauge was not required
in the hiring
process.
Whitsett crews worked with SHP to direct traffic around the stalled
vehicle.
